Honored to Receive the Outstanding School Partner Award

This is one of those special moments that both surprises and inspires you.

I had the tremendous honor of receiving the Outstanding School Partner Award from the Massachusetts Association of School Committees for the work I do through Viking Sports. This recognition means the world to me—not just because of the award itself, but because of what it represents: a shared commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of students and school communities.

Typically, I’d celebrate something like this quietly at home with my family. But this time, I had the privilege of accepting the award during a public Framingham School Committee meeting—a meaningful and humbling experience in front of an audience dedicated to education and community progress.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Adam Freudberg and the entire Framingham School Committee for nominating me and Viking Sports for this recognition. To say I was surprised is an understatement. I’m truly grateful, and this award only deepens my motivation to keep showing up, to keep making a difference, and to continue supporting the next generation of world changers.

I also want to extend my deepest gratitude to all the PTOs, PTAs, and school districts that welcome Viking Sports into their communities. Your trust and partnership are what allow us to do what we do best—create positive, active, and inclusive environments for kids to grow, play, and thrive.

And as always, I’m thankful for my incredible family. Their love and support are the foundation that keeps me going. They cheer me on from the sidelines, and none of this would be possible without them.

This award isn’t a finish line—it’s a spark. A reminder that every effort, every connection, every after-school program and summer camp matters. And with that reminder, I’ll keep pushing forward, stickivity in full effect.
